Here we are four months into 2008 and although the year has been unpredictable for our currency, we at Greenside Golf Travel still maintain a strong belief in our product and know that you will not get such good value for money in golf travel with any other operator. We are the market leaders in South Africa and with input from our travel partners we still expect 2008 to be a great year for travelling with Greenside. All our tournament packages include a minimum of R40 000 worth of prizes for our entrants, who also receive ‘goodie bags’ which include branded golf shirts, caps, Golf Punk Subscriptions and our legendary shoe bags. All guests on our tournaments also benefit from welcome and farewell prize-giving functions where the beer and wine are included!
Our Masters competition proved to be a great success and our congratulations go to our winner Derrick Pearl from Cape Town. You lucky fish!! To all the rest you who entered, there will be other competitions…so better luck next time.
Unfortunately I do need to draw your attention to our company policy regarding currency fluctuations. Although we would love to guarantee our prices, with the Rand depreciating against the major currencies it is become impossible to do so. We are now forced to recost our outbound packages on a daily basis and can therefore only guarantee the price quoted for one working day. This means that instead of a month’s grace between invoicing and date of travel we now require payment 24 hours after invoicing. We hope that this does not cause you too much inconvenience and note that this will only be enforced whilst the Rand is unstable.
On a lighter note, to prove that good value is a priority, why not take a look at our Manager’s Choice, which includes a tremendous once in a lifetime deal to Mauritius over the April/May public holiday or our outstanding packages to Portugal and Thailand.
